This policy explains what information is involved when you visit StonePlan Tools, use a material calculator or contact us by email.
1. About StonePlan Tools
StonePlan Tools is the website at stoneplan.estimatorpad.com. It publishes browser-based material estimators and educational guides for stone, gravel, driveways, drainage and landscaping. The website is intended primarily for US readers, but visitors may access it from other locations.
For privacy questions or requests, email contact@estimatorpad.com or visit our Contact page. StonePlan Tools is the name of this website; it is not a claim of a separately registered business entity.
2. Information involved in a visit
When your browser requests a page, our hosting and security provider may process technical information needed to serve and protect it, including your IP address, requested URL, date and time, browser or device information, and request headers. This information may be included in infrastructure logs or security events, depending on the provider's settings.
We do not offer visitor accounts, subscriptions or a payment checkout on this website. You do not need to provide a name or email address to use the calculators and guides.
3. How calculator inputs are handled
Our five material calculators perform their calculations in your browser. Values such as dimensions, layer depth, density, material allowances and prices are used to display estimates on the page; the current calculator implementations do not send those entries to a separate calculation server or automatically save them in a website account.
Calculator scripts do not intentionally store entered measurements in localStorage or sessionStorage, and do not automatically add them to shareable page URLs. If you choose to copy a summary or print a result, that action uses your browser, clipboard, device or print service, which may keep a copy under your own settings.
4. Contact messages and privacy requests
Our Contact page offers an email link to contact@estimatorpad.com, not an active web submission form. Selecting that link opens your email application if one is configured. Emailing us is optional.
If you write to us, your message may contain your email address, name or signature, the information you include, and technical delivery details. Your outgoing mail provider, the forwarding or delivery services configured for our contact address, and the receiving mailbox may process and retain the message. We use messages to respond to inquiries, investigate calculator or article problems, and handle applicable privacy requests.
Please do not send passwords, payment credentials, private documents or unnecessary personal project details. We do not have a public message database on the website, and we do not use contact emails for a newsletter or advertising list.
6. Analytics and advertising
StonePlan Tools uses Google AdSense to display and measure advertising on selected published content pages. Google and participating advertising vendors may receive information about ad requests and interactions, including device or browser details, IP addresses, cookie identifiers and approximate location. Advertising may be personalized or non-personalized depending on relevant choices, location and provider settings. The website does not currently add Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager scripts; Cloudflare Web Analytics is not configured for this Pages project.
Advertising practices and privacy requirements can differ by region. Where consent is required, applicable choices should be respected before optional processing. Google requires publishers serving personalized ads in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland to use a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. The operator must ensure that the account's consent messaging is appropriately configured for visitors in those regions. We will update this policy if further advertising or analytics services are added.
7. How we use information
Website-request information helps deliver pages, maintain availability, investigate technical problems and protect the service. Information voluntarily sent by email is used to respond to messages, resolve issues or meet applicable legal obligations. Google AdSense processes advertising-related information to display and measure ads and, where permitted, personalize them. We do not use calculator entries to build our own visitor profiles.
8. Service providers and information sharing
Cloudflare provides the Pages hosting and network/security infrastructure through which visitors access StonePlan Tools. Cloudflare may process request-related technical information under its service terms and privacy practices. Other providers involved when you send an email include your own mail provider and the forwarding or receiving mailbox services configured for our contact address.
Google AdSense and participating advertising vendors may receive advertising-related information when an ad-enabled page is loaded. This does not mean calculator measurements are sent to our calculation backend. We may also need to disclose information when required by applicable law or to protect the operation and security of the website. Ordinary links to outside resources do not, by themselves, send those resources your calculator inputs.
9. Retention and security
The calculators do not maintain a server-side database of your measurements. Email messages may remain in the receiving mailbox and related email systems for the period needed to respond and maintain relevant records. Hosting and security logs, if retained, are governed by the applicable service configuration and provider practices. We do not publish a fixed deletion period that we cannot verify.
The site is served over HTTPS, and the published contact method does not require visitors to submit personal details through a web form. However, no website or email system can guarantee complete security. Please avoid including sensitive information in messages.
10. Your choices and privacy rights
You can use the calculators without sending us an email. You can control browser storage in your browser and visit Google Ads Settings to manage eligible ad-personalization choices. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict certain processing of personal information, as well as choices concerning advertising.
To make a privacy request, write to contact@estimatorpad.com. We may need enough information to verify a request before responding, and we cannot promise deletion of information controlled solely by your email provider or another independent service. Any applicable legal requirements govern how requests are handled.
11. Children and external websites
The site provides material-estimating information for a general audience and is not designed to collect information from children. It has no children's accounts or child-directed features.
Some guides link to suppliers, technical standards or other external resources. If you follow those links, the destination website's own privacy practices apply. A regular outgoing link is different from an embedded tracking script that runs on this website.
12. Updates and contact
We may revise this policy when site features, services or privacy practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when a revised policy is published. Significant changes may also require other notices or choices under applicable law.
